Great question! We kinda have two! - We're traveling with immediate family for an intimate ceremony on Vancouver Island in early June. - Once we get back from our travels (including some honeymooning across Canada), we'll be throwing a reception on June 28 at the Campbell Lodge in Durant Nature Preserve. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
There will be drinks, music, games and grabbable food (plenty for all, but buffet/cocktail hour style, so no scheduled sit-down dinner). Think all things wedding, minus the ceremony, plus a little signature Abby & Ben flair - and by that, we mean DISCO, baby!
Yeah, baby, yeah!!! We love a themed party! We'll be boogie'n on down under the neon lights and mirror ball reflections. The level to which you'd like to adhere to the theme is up to you, but we recommend embracing the groove and the glitter.
Wedding attire x disco vibes? Formal but not too formal - no tailcoats or ballgowns necessary. We highly encourage color and comfort, groovy jumpsuits and wide lapels, platform boots and fringe. It's a celebration, y'all! Wear what brings you joy (and what you can really get down in).
The most important question. We will have a food truck catered by our favorite taqueria, Esmeralda Grill. Vegetarian options will be available. If you have further dietary restrictions, please reach out! We will have beer, wine and prosecco, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic options. Please, if you plan to drink, arrange for a sober ride home. We love you and want you to be safe!
We love your kids! But this disco is for adults only. We kindly ask that you leave the kiddos at home for the night.
