Her Story: Our beginning was not a love at first sight kind of story. In fact, I thought he was pretty obnoxious the first time I met him (still do). Slowly but surely we developed a friendship which centered around poking fun at each other. I always looked at him as a friend, until my lovely mom saw a picture of us and commented on how we make a cute couple. From there on, I looked at him a little differently. My crush on him grew and grew...until I found myself wishing he were there at the most random of times. So I did what any mature adult would do...I got my friend (Remy) to tell Matt that I think he's cute. Fast forward a few years later, and I still think he makes every moment better. I am so excited to marry my best friend and for all the moments we have ahead of us. His Story: If you would have told me 4 years ago that I was going to meet the love of my life and the best puppy mom I could ask for, I would have thought you were crazy. That's just the tip of the iceberg with Grace. She has so many amazing qualities that drew me to her. At first, I saw Grace as a friend that I could confide in and one that was fun to hangout with. Our relationship slowly grew over the summer as we became weekly Giant Pong partners. It all finally came together when Grace and I went to one of my favorite spots in Lancaster to hike. I of course picked one of the hottest days and was a sweaty mess. Grace looked beautiful as ever with her radiating glow. I thought that there was no way she was going to like me after seeing so much sweat pour down my face. It was on the ride home when Grace was telling me an embarrassing story , when she commented that it was a weird story to tell your boyfriend. That's when I knew I had her. From that moment forward, our relationship started to blossom and grow into what it is today. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life going on more adventures with Grace and seeing what is in store for our future.
Her Story: There was no girlfriend more suspicious than me. At even the most random times, I thought he was proposing. When I say random I mean sitting in a CVS parking lot, random. There was no way this man was going to surprise me. Then he proposed on a random Tuesday at a get together that I thought I planned. I guess I should have suspected something when he had me stop to get more pasta sauce (meanwhile he was giving his accomplices more time). Matt always claims we have enough sauce and we never ever do. I should have known. My first thought when I walked in to our apartment was that I couldn't believe I forgot to blow out a candle that I never lit. The next few minutes were a blissful blur of complete shock and utter happiness. A corgi and a ring all in one night!? I know I'm biased but...BEST PROPOSAL EVER. His Story: Grace is a very hard person to surprise. We have a tendency of telling each other secrets months in advance so I knew this was going to be hard. It was the week before the Fourth of July, and Black Panther had just come out. I picked it up and suggested that we invite Adam and Danielle over to watch it. Little did I know, Grace was inviting more and more people to come over. Finding this out, I went into recovery mode and had to quietly let everyone know to come later in the night. The day of, Grace had no idea that the wonderful accessory that is my fanny pack, was holding her ring. During the day, I gave Danielle our apartment key to go and set up and make sure everything was ready. Being her typical self, Danielle was running behind so I had to stall. Knowing we were having pasta for dinner, I suggested we stop to get more sauce for the growing guest list. When I finally got the text that Adam and Danielle were at the apartment, I knew it was go time. The link below is the video of the proposal! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRDyjRHYCfU&feature=share
