It's Finally Happening!

It was my roommate, Nadia Levine's, birthday and he came down to visit. I met him and scurried off into my room like a true introvert. Apparently, the moment he saw me he labeled me his "Dr. Bae." Since we had a mutual friend we eventually exchanged numbers and built a friendship. On August 15, 2021, we went out for crab legs and I sensed he was trying to ask me to be his girlfriend so I interrupted him and said "If you are asking me to be your girlfriend the answer is yes!"

Our post-church Sunday routine is for him to walk me to my car then we drive around to where he parks. This particular Sunday we were sitting in the car talking and he randomly walked around to the driver's side where I was. Mid-conversation he was really emotional and I got very concerned. He spontaneously got down on one knee and asked me to give him the pleasure of being his wife. I said "YES!"

Sometimes we are that cheesy romantic couple. We assigned colors to our pet names for each other. He is my Crimson Moon. I am his Sapphire Starlight. Red and Blue together make purple!
