Our love story began in 2019, during our sophomore year of high school. Isaac had just been moved into my history class, not because he chose it, but because his previous teacher couldn’t handle his mischief anymore. Fate (and maybe a frustrated school administrator) placed him in the same classroom group as me. That small change ended up changing everything. I had a crush on Isaac first, and thankfully, I had a very supportive (and slightly pushy) friend who made it her mission to make us happen. She’d find any excuse to shove us into each other in the hallways, helping spark the connection we were both secretly hoping for. From awkward hallway run-ins to inside jokes and long conversations, our relationship took off from there. What started as teenage butterflies turned into a love that’s only grown stronger with time. We’ve grown up together, supported each other, and built a bond full of laughter, patience, and deep love. From high school sweethearts to soulmates, this is just the beginning of our forever🩶

Isaac proposed during our anniversary trip to Hawaii, on a breathtaking hike at Manoa Falls. We were celebrating six years of being together, and I had a feeling the proposal might happen on our anniversary date, April 3rd, but when the day came and went without a ring, I let go of the idea and just focused on enjoying the trip. The next day, we set out on a gorgeous hike through the lush forest. I was completely captivated by the flowers, trees, and everything around me, stopping constantly to take pictures. Meanwhile, Isaac had one goal: get to the top, where a beautiful waterfall waited the perfect spot for what he had planned and I was unknowingly slowing it down with every plant photo. As we made our way up, completely surrounded by nature, he surprised me by getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him with a sweet little speech he had prepared. I was in shock in the best way and it was more perfect than anything I had imagined🩶
