Fun shopping and restaurants downtown. There's a fun trail (the Atlanta BeltLine) that runs between Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market. It's really fun to rent a scooter or bike and do this route. For more info see: exploregeorgia.org and search "Atlanta Beltline"

Park in the middle of downtown Atlanta across the street from the College Football Hall of Fame with a ferris wheel (Skyview Atlanta) near the aquarium and World of Coca Cola. Built for the 1996 Summer Olympic games held in Atlanta.
Adjacent to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, this 200+ acre park includes a lake, several trails, tennis courts, and a Saturday farmers market.
