Melesia and Ryan went to the same middle school, but didn't know each other. Ryan had a crush on Melesia, but never attempted to talk to her. Shortly after, they both ended up at Collinwood High. One day Ryan was cutting class, running down the hall, trying to hide from school security, when he cut a corner and ran into the lunch room, where another class was having study hall. Ryan spotted that girl who he had a crush on since middle school, with her head down on the table, sleeping, instead of studying. Ryan woke her up to initiate a conversation.
