Tanner & Kristina met while working their high school job at Casey's Carwash in Salina. While Tanner was strict and focused on work Kristina was about to head to college and was spending her summer with her friends and coworkers while at work. Back then the two really didn't "click" like most couples do in the beginning but neither knew what the future might hold.

Kristina had just moved back to Salina after living all over Kansas, playing college softball and then going to hair school shortly after and for extra money decided to go back to her old high school job. Tanner was going to Salina Tech and working at Casey's as much as he could. Though the two didn't talk much Tanner secretly had a crush on Kristina since his freshman year of High School (2010) but never told her or expressed any interest until one day he mustered up the courage to ask Kristina on a date. Kristina was reluctant after just coming out of a relationship and turned Tanner down not once, not twice, but SEVEN times. Tanner had all but given up until one day he and Kristina ran into each other and she asked him to hangout.

After work Kristina went home to change grabbed a few things and headed over to what most would call the "Roberts House." While it was a little awkward for the two at first they broke the ice by watching The Office and building a model car (most of the way). After a few consecutive days of hanging out the two decided to go on their first "real date" and Tanner took Kristina to Jalisco's which is now one of their favorite restaurants to go to! From there the relationship bloomed.

The two have been together since March 14, 2016 and have made the most of every moment they've had. In the almost 4 year Tanner and Kristina have been together they have taken road trips to Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, Chicago and Nebraska. They've attended as many concerts and events as they could, including: Nitro Circus, Post Malone, G-Eazy, Flatbush Zombies, Little Sahara Doin' The Dunes, MLB Games, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Country Stampede, Maroon 5, Lindsey Stirling, NFL Games, Carrie Underwood and so much more. They love going on any type of adventure but also love to stay home and watch their favorite binge-worthy NETFLIX shows. Thanks to everyone that has made these years so incredibly special to the both of us!

Tanner had been planning this moment for almost 6 months. He spent his whole summer working side jobs & saving up money to buy Kristina's ring before their vacation to Arizona in August. He had told Kristina that all the money he was saving was going to go towards a big payment on his student loans. In the few days before they left for their trip Tanner had it all planned out, his friend, Austin, would go to Riddle's & get the rings & put them in the GoPro bag because why would Kristina ever look in there. They arrived in Arizona on Saturday & hung out with family all night. Tanner took this opportunity to ask Kristina's dad for her hand & the two snuck off to see the ring. The next day Tanner & Kristina got ready to go take pictures (he said he wanted to update the pictures from the first time they ever went to Arizona in 2016 so Kristina thought nothing of it) once they were ready they headed towards a resort near her dads house & tried to find the perfect spot for "pictures." The first spot they took pictures at they were getting cactus thorns stuck in their shoes & Tanner knew this wasn't the right spot. They piled back in Kristina's cousins car & started to look for another spot when Kristina (still completely unaware of what was happening) saw an archway with a path closer to the golf course so, they decided to head over there to see what it looked like. Low & behold the area was absolutely gorgeous & ironically was named "Promise Rock" the best part is nobody knew it was there. The two took pictures in the lush, green grass & in front of "promise rock" before Tanner shot Melissa (Kristina's cousin) a thumbs up to have her start recording. Tanner got down on one knee in front of the waterfall & couldn't mutter a single word except "will you marry me?" (he had a whole speech on his phone) & Kristina turned into a blubbering mess that could barely get the word "yes" out. They kissed, hugged & in true Kristina fashion she ended it all by blubbering "you asshole."
