Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by February 15. You can RSVP here on this website - there is a tab somewhere! If that doesn't work for you, you can RSVP by texting Cathy Brown at 724-531-8110 - please include your name!

Question

Are there two venues?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be at Christ Church Wellsboro at 10:30 AM. Afterwards, there will be a catered late lunch at the Tioga County Fairgrounds, which is about 5-10 minutes down the road. There will be some free time between the ceremony and the reception (picture time for the bridal party and their families), when you can hang out with friends, let the kids run around outside, pick on the bride's family, exchange silly and/or embarrassing stories about the bride and groom, etc.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We would love to have the kids attend as well. Weddings are family events, after all! And a joyful, noisy celebration - so we don't mind if they are making a bit of a "joyful noise" - or other noise - during the ceremony or reception. We are just blessed to have them join us! :)

Question

What's with this "flower child army"? Are you inviting my toddlers to become hippies?

Answer

Ah, well, you see, what happened was, Zeke had an Idea. As we do tend to be people who like to be memorable and stand out, the Idea is that instead of having a single flower girl, we invite all the toddlers present to join in a mad dash down the aisle, wildly flinging flower petals in every conceivable direction before mobbing the audience, trying to join their families. If your invitation has a slip inviting your toddler or young child to join the joyful madness, they are welcome to do the day of (if they are feeling up to it on the day! No pressure if they are shy). If your toddler wasn't invited to join, just let us know.

Question

Are there travel accommodations?

Answer

On the travel tab, we have listed the closest airports (not actually very close, sorry!), and some much closer hotel options.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear clothes! Wear something that you feel nice in, that makes you feel like you are celebrating - no blue jeans, please, but we don't require a suit-and-tie! (But silly neckties are encouraged, if you like that sort of thing).

Question

Where is the registry?!?!

Answer

Yeah, we'll probably get around to that ... We wanted to prioritize getting the invitations sent out, so the website is still a bit of a work in progress. We don't need much, as God has blessed us abundantly and our home is already well-supplied! We hope to get a registry added to the website soon, and keep updating it as we go along (check back in a bit if you still don't see it) - but all we are really asking is the gift of your presence; and you are invited (but not required) to bring a dessert to pass!

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! With a morning wedding, we intend to follow it up with a catered late lunch just a few miles down the road. We invite you to contribute to our potluck dessert bar by bringing a dessert to pass (not required)!

Question

Will the wedding be held inside or outside?

Answer

Well, much as an outdoor wedding would be beautiful, we did pick a date in April - so to err on the safe side, we will be indoors, for both the ceremony and reception: to ensure thermostat control and limit precipitation concerns!

Question

I have another question that was not answered here ...

Answer

Well, feel free to ask it! You can contact Sarah or Zeke, or send a text to Cathy Brown with your name and question, and we will get back to you! Cathy Brown's text number is 724-531-8110.

For all the days along the way
