In the summer of 2013, we met as we prepared for our first year of teaching in Dallas, TX. We spent our first year as teachers bonding over common struggles: grading papers at bar trivia, trading ridiculous classroom stories, and spending all day on Sunday lesson planning, after boozy brunch of course. What started as a friendship blossomed into something more and by the end of our first year we were dating. We’ve stuck together through many jobs, raising two pets, and a cross country move and are so excited to be starting the rest of our lives together.
