The wedding will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Blue Nile Boat, Maadi Corniche, Cairo, Egypt. Answer

Formal. Think floor-length gowns for women and tuxedos or formal suits for men. When should I arrive in Cairo? متى يجب أن أصل إلى القاهرة؟

We recommend arriving by June 25th at the latest to give yourself time to settle in, beat any travel stress, and enjoy Cairo before the big day. Many guests are planning to stay through June 29th or 30th to make the most of their trip. نوصي بالوصول في موعد أقصاه 25 يونيو لتتمكنوا من الاسترخاء وتجنب أي ضغط في السفر والاستمتاع بالقاهرة قبل اليوم الكبير. كثير من الضيوف يخططون للبقاء حتى 29 أو 30 يونيو للاستفادة القصوى من رحلتهم

Do I need a visa to enter Egypt? هل أحتاج إلى تأشيرة لدخول مصر؟

Answer

Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival or an e-visa online before traveling. Jordanian passport holders can enter Egypt without a visa. For all other nationalities, we recommend applying for an e-visa at visa2egypt.gov.eg well in advance of your trip. معظم الجنسيات يمكنها الحصول على تأشيرة عند الوصول أو تأشيرة إلكترونية عبر الإنترنت قبل السفر. حاملو جوازات السفر الأردنية يدخلون مصر دون تأشيرة. لبقية الجنسيات، نوصي بالتقديم على التأشيرة الإلكترونية مسبقاً على الموقع visa2egypt.gov.eg.

What is the currency in Egypt and should I bring cash? ما هي العملة في مصر وهل يجب أن أحمل نقوداً؟

Answer

The local currency is the Egyptian Pound (EGP). Credit cards are accepted at most hotels and restaurants, but it's a good idea to have some cash on hand for markets, taxis, and smaller spots. Currency exchange is available at the airport, banks, and most hotels. As a reference, 1 JOD is roughly 75 EGP. 1 USD is roughly 53 EGP. العملة المحلية هي الجنيه المصري (EGP). بطاقات الائتمان مقبولة في معظم الفنادق والمطاعم، لكن من الجيد حمل بعض النقود للأسواق والتاكسي والأماكن الصغيرة. يمكن تحويل العملة في المطار والبنوك ومعظم الفنادق. للمرجعية: 1 دينار أردني يساوي تقريباً 75 جنيهاً مصرياً، و1 دولار أمريكي يساوي تقريباً 53 جنيهاً مصرياً

How do I get from Cairo Airport to my hotel? كيف أصل من مطار القاهرة إلى فندقي؟

Answer

The most convenient options are Uber (works great in Cairo), DiDi, a pre-arranged hotel transfer, or a private taxi. We recommend using Uber & DiDi for ease and price transparency. The airport is roughly 30–50 mins from most of the recommended hotels depending on traffic. أسهل الخيارات هي أوبر أو ديدي أو توصيلة مرتبة مع الفندق أو تاكسي خاص. نوصي باستخدام أوبر او ديدي لسهولة الاستخدام ووضوح الأسعار. المطار على بعد 30 إلى 50 دقيقة تقريباً من معظم الفنادق الموصى بها حسب حركة المرور

How do I get around Cairo? كيف أتنقل داخل القاهرة؟

Answer

Uber & DiDi is the easiest and most reliable way to get around Cairo, download the app before you arrive. Taxis are also widely available. Traffic in Cairo can be heavy, especially in the evenings, so always factor in extra time. أوبر وديدي هما الأسهل والأكثر موثوقية للتنقل في القاهرة، حمّلوا التطبيق قبل وصولكم. التاكسي متوفر أيضاً في كل مكان. الزحمة في القاهرة قد تكون كثيفة خصوصاً في المساء، لذا احسبوا وقتاً إضافياً دائماً

Arabic is the official language. English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants, and tourist areas, so most guests will have no trouble getting around. اللغة الرسمية هي العربية. الإنجليزية منتشرة في الفنادق والمطاعم والمناطق السياحية، لذا لن يواجه معظم الضيوف أي صعوبة في التنقل

Yes! Cairo is a welcoming city with millions of tourists visiting every year. As with any major city, just be mindful of your belongings in busy areas like markets and tourist sites.
