Some of the best pizza in Jersey. If it's a nice day, get your pizza to-go and eat outside on their patio. Getting the bread and butter is a must.
The Hive is a cute cafe with a great coffee menu and pastry selection. The big selling point is their cinnamon rolls. Cinny's are only sold Friday to Sunday and usually sell out between 10-11am. But they are worth it! Don't be intimidated if there's a line, it usually goes quick.
Daily Provisions is one of Katelyn's favorite cafes. They have a amazing breakfast sandwiches and their coffee is top notch. They are known for their seasonal crullers. If you get a breakfast sandwich, be sure to order their wake up sauce.
Incredible Italian sandwiches. Jesse likes to get the Chicken Parm Vodka and Katelyn likes to get the Caesar Sandwich. But anything you get here will be amazing and the portions are huge.
Jersey City is known for having great Indian food and this is one of our favorite places to get to-go. Fun fact, Jesse didn't like Indian food until last summer when he had Indian food in London. Now he's hooked. We recommend the butter chicken or chicken tikka masala, goat chettnad, aloo paratha, and shahi gulab for dessert.
We are the first to admit that the bagels in NYC are superior to the bagels in Jersey but Wonder Bagels is a solid bagel if you're looking to stay local. Also their white fish is great! There tends to be a long line on the late weekend mornings so either be prepared to wait or place an order for pick up.
We (Jesse) would be remiss to not mention Bodega Cards. For those who want to experience Jesse's favorite spot in JC/Hoboken, visit Bodega cards for a selection of sports and hobby cards that puts a smile on Jesse's face every time he walks through their doors.
Our absolute favorite bagel spot in NYC, making sourdough bagels. They have a few spots in NYC and even in Hoboken but this location has more seating and the line tends to go faster than the other locations.
