During a long weekend at Trinity Lake, Zech and Katelyn were spending time in the heat and enjoying the day. They had gone to Etna for a late lunch and the day couldn't have been more perfect. While Katelyn's family was enjoying their time by the trailer, Zech and Katelyn wandered over to where their future cabin would be built. They had been talking about it for a while now, what they needed to do, what they wanted to do, and how they saw themselves in this place that would become a major part of their lives. They talked for quite a while, standing on opposite sides of a tall pine tree that would act as a gateway toward their future. They had just finished deciding the layout of the cabin, the last piece they needed before they could begin building, when Katelyn came around from her side of the pine and Zech was down on one knee. He asked her to marry him. She cried and said yes, of course. Of course she would. This place, that they knew would be a centerpiece of their lives had become something more. The first memory in this place had become something indescribable, and unbelievably joyful.
