Sarah and Zeb first got to know each other the way a lot of great stories start, through a big, overlapping group of friends at church. They'd been around each other for a while, sharing the same circles, the same game nights, the same post-service hangouts. There was always an easy comfort between them, even before either of them realized anything was happening. Eventually, though, Sarah's friends started picking up on something she hadn't quite caught: Zeb was definitely interested. They teased her, nudged her, and pointed out all the little ways he seemed to light up around her. Sarah wasn't convinced...until the day Zeb actually asked her out. When that moment finally came, Sarah was so caught off guard that she just stared at him, completely speechless. After what felt like an eternity, she managed to say the most practical thing she could think of: she needed to "check her schedule." (Spoiler: her schedule was suddenly very open.) That first date turned into a second, then into many more, and before long they found that their connection was something steady, natural, and full of joy. One of the first things that drew them together was how much they had in common. They both love hiking and being outdoors, and one of their shared dreams is to one day hike the Appalachian Trail together. Whether it's a simple walk, a weekend hike, or just spending time outside, they're at their happiest side by side in nature. But even more than their love for adventure, what really anchors their relationship is their faith. Loving the Lord, more than anything, is at the center of their story. It guides how they show up for one another, for their friends, and for the life they're building. They still spend plenty of time with the group of friends who brought them together in the first place, but they also really value the quieter moments like movie nights, long talks, or just hanging out. It's an easy kind of companionship, the kind that feels like home. What started as two people in the same friend group has turned into a relationship built on faith, friendship, shared adventures, and a whole lot of laughter. And now, they're so excited to step into this next chapter together.
