If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Semi-Formal Summer Attire Guys - throw on a suit and feel free to have fun with accessories (ties & socks) Girls - Summer cocktail dress. Note - the ceremony will take place on grass
Your presence at our wedding is gift enough; however, if you feel compelled to purchase a gift, we are registered here on Zola - see the registry tab above. We ask that you do not bring gifts to the wedding as we will have limited luggage capacity with Myles in tow on our way back to Minneapolis.
We selected items that we can use now and that would last for years to come. All of the big ticket items have been marked as group gifts. Please feel free to contribute whatever you'd like to these items. We've also set up honey moon fund and house furnishing fund. We would be eternally grateful to have you contribute to these major life events.
Nashville is experiencing a tourism boom and a shortage of hotels - a perfect storm for absurdly overpriced rooms. We highly recommend Airbnb. The best neighborhoods are 12 South, Belmont, Hillsboro Village, Music Row, Sylvan Park and The Nations. If you are interested in a hotel, there are several options near the Vanderbilt University area that are both close to the venue and downtown Nashville.
We are hosting welcome cocktails at Hi-Fi Clyde's (formerly Clyde's on Church) on Friday evening from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. If you'd like some suggestions for dinner following drinks, we'd be happy to oblige. Broadway is also just down the road...
Transportation is not provided; however, the venue is a short 15 min drive from the Vanderbilt area. Please utilize Uber or Lyft as your mode of transportation. Parking is available on site; however, if you plan to indulge in the open bar, we ask that you not drive.
Please plan on arriving to the ceremony around 5:30 PM. The grounds of the Plantation will still be open to the public until 5:00 PM, but you are more than welcome to arrive any time after that. There will be seating reserved in a garden area adjacent to the Boxwood Garden if you would like to wait there until seating for the ceremony begins.
Absolutely! We will do our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Just let us know.
Whatever you choose! We recommend wandering down to Broadway, the night is young!
Yes! Our friends, Mason and Brooke Mercy have graciously offered up their home to host a brunch on Sunday morning from 10 AM to 2 PM. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect, but do not feel that you need to rearrange travel plans in order to attend.
