January in Cancun typically brings pleasant, mild weather. Expect daytime temperatures ranging from 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C), with cooler evenings around 60°F to 70°F (15°C to 21°C). It's a great time to visit if you're looking to escape colder climates, as it’s generally sunny with very little rain. Humidity levels are lower, making it a comfortable time for an outdoor wedding. Just remember to pack a light jacket or sweater for the evenings when it can get a bit cooler!

Attending a destination wedding in Cancun is an exciting adventure, but ensuring your safety will make it even more enjoyable. Jen has already arranged for safe and reliable transfers in Cancun from the airport and and back. These are my tips while at the resort or if you decide to venture off property. - Protect Your Belongings: Keep valuables out of sight and use hotel safes for important items. Avoid carrying large amounts of cash and use ATMs in secure locations. Dollars are widely accepted so take small bill for tips. - Stay in the Hotel Zone: This area is well-known and protected by law enforcement agencies, making it safer for tourists. Avoid remote neighborhoods, especially at night. If venturing out, travel in groups and use pre-arranged transportation services provided by the resort or trusted operators. If you wish to explore the area please reach out to Jen - she has trusted partners to help! - Avoid Drugs and Excessive Alcohol: Stick to reputable nightclubs and bars, and avoid excessive drinking. - Be Mindful of Beach Safety: Choose Blue-Flag beaches with lifeguards and pay attention to the color-coded warning system for swimming safety. Avoid swimming if red or black flags are displayed. - Mexico has implemented strict regulations and bans on vaping products, including e-cigarettes and vapes. It is illegal to bring these items into Mexico and penalties include fines or possible detainment
