FAQs

The Wedding Website of James Condon and Meredith Zaritheny
Question

✈️ When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the historic Chiswick House & Gardens in London, England. The ceremony and reception will both be held onsite.

Question

💌 What is the dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will be Black Tie. We kindly invite guests to dress in formal evening attire — tuxedos for men and floor-length gowns for women. The event will take place on the grounds of Chiswick House & Gardens, so we recommend block heels or heel protectors for comfort.

Question

🌸 What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late May in London is typically mild, with temperatures averaging 60–70°F (15–21°C). We hope for sunshine, but recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket for the evening.

Question

🏨 Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend hotels in Kensington, Notting Hill, and West London, which offer convenient access to Chiswick House & Gardens. A few of our favorites include The Kensington Hotel and The Franklin. London has wonderful options at every price point — we encourage guests to book early, as late May is a busy travel period.

Question

🚕 How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Chiswick House & Gardens is approximately 20–30 minutes from Central London by car or taxi. We suggest allowing extra time for London traffic. Parking is limited, so we recommend taxis, car services, or ride shares (Uber and Bolt are widely available).

Question

🍾 Is there anything happening before or after the wedding day?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be hosting welcome drinks on Thursday evening at one of our favorite pubs. On Saturday, we'll be gathering for a casual brunch for those staying in London for the weekend. Details and RSVP information will be shared closer to the date.

Question

📸 Can I post photos on social media?

Answer

We love capturing memories! Please feel free to share your photos after the ceremony — just tag us so we can enjoy them, too. We do ask guests to keep phones tucked away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment.
