This will be a traditional Pakistani wedding! If you are not familiar with South Asian weddings, we encourage you to watch Big Day on Netflix. We will have flyers available during the wedding that will explain the schedule and traditional customs.
Although this will be a large wedding, the event space is also very large. The ballroom holds over 1,000 people and we are expecting the guest count to be at 1/3 capacity. We are aiming to spread guests out as much as possible! Masks will be required.
Our ceremony will be conducted prior to the wedding weekend and will be family only. Sunday night will be more like a reception.
For religious reasons there will be no alcohol served, therefore this will be a dry event.
We have a diverse crowd so you will see a mix of traditional outfits and suits/gowns, we ask that our guests dress formally.
South Asian weddings typically run until midnight or 1 am. We invite you to stay as long as you feel comfortable!
Expect dinner to be served after 9 pm. Hors d'oeuvres will be available before the ballroom opens at 7 pm, but you might want to eat a snack before!
We will have waiters serving food to our guests buffet-style. The cuisine will be South Asian and there will be vegetarian options.
There is a parking deck at the hotel. The hotel is giving our guests a discounted parking rate of $15 per day and $35 for overnight parking. We encourage our guests to Uber/Lyft or seek alternative parking nearby if they would like to avoid parking fees.
