While we live in Orange County the wedding will be taking place in San Diego County. So if you plan to spend your entire trip in San Diego then the San Diego International Airport is your best option. LAX (Los Angeles) and John Wayne (Orange County) are options as well but they are about 2 hours away from San Diego.
