All guests will need to produce a valid, government issued photo ID upon entry (e.g., passport, US driver’s license, international driver's license from your home country). Willis Tower security will not let you up to the venue without it (: Once you arrive at the Willis Tower, enter through the East door on 232 S Franklin Street to pass through security. The venue is on the 66th floor.
Parking is located in the church’s school lot at 363 W. Hill Street. The parking lot is directly behind the firehouse on the corner of N. Orleans and Hill Street located across the street from the church. No cars should be left during the day or overnight following the ceremony. Do not park in the lot for the Atrium Village apartments, which is directly east of St. Joseph Church. You may be towed.
The cocktail hour at The Metropolitan begins at 6:00PM (please plan to arrive between 5:40-5:45PM to allow time to get through security). If you’re looking for ways to kill time in between the Ceremony and Reception, there are plenty of bars within a ~15 minute walk of the church on Division Street or Wells Street. Check out “Things to Do” for some recommendations. The Kimpton Gray Hotel, where we will be staying for the weekend, has several bars and is walking distance to the Willis Tower.
We recommend splitting Ubers, Lyfts, or Taxis with other guests for the quickest, easiest, and sometimes cheapest option for short rides.
We recommend using the SpotHero app if you will be driving to the Reception to reserve a parking spot. There are many parking garage options within a couple block radius of the Willis Tower.
We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation (plus one guest names will be visible through the RSVP link).
We plan to keep the party going after the Reception. We’ll communicate the post-game plan the day of the wedding. Stay tuned!
