We went to the same school and since we were one grade apart, we were around each other occasionally but never spoke to each other because we were in middle school and awkward lol. Once we both reached high school we just so happened to be in the same Spanish class together where we still rarely spoke to each other. However, one day conversations were happening about who was going to take who to prom and Grayson so graciously volunteered to be my, Zarai's, prom date. So then, we went to prom together! Grayson was a freshman and I, Zarai, was a sophomore. After prom we continued to chat for a little bit but since Grayson was still not yet able to date, we decided to not take it any further. However, Grayson told me before we decided just to be friends that if we find each other again when he's old enough to date then we know it was meant to be. Then next year prom rolls around, I take a different date, but Grayson goes to watch all of the couples walk in. He sees me, then DMs me on Instagram and says, "your prom date last year was cuter." He hooked me! I replied, "you're right" and since Grayson was old enough to date, we never stopped talking! Now, because of Grayson's boldness, we are going to get married!! We both know the Lord made us just for each other and that we were always meant to be :)
