PR is know for its beautiful sunshine and HEAT! it can get pretty warm there so pack accordingly (including sunscreen bc the sun can get intense). PR also can have some cooler rainy days so it wouldn't hurt to bring an extra outfit or 2 just incase it ends of raining. Typically if it is raining in one area of the island you are able to drive and find sunshine somewhere on the island (most of the time).
Although Puerto Rico offers lots of different resort and stay options, All inclusivee resorts do not exist on the island. PR residents want you to support their businesses and be immersed in their culture when visiting. The west side of the island is more known for locals and not as "touristy" so get ready to enjoy life as the islanders do for a few days.
There are so many restaurants and food options on the island. however the equivalent to our "tops" would be ECONO which is their main grocery store. However there are still Walmart and Sam's club on the island as well that are about 30 minutes from the reception area. All of these stores sell wine liquor and beer as well.
