Breakwater Light is a historic lighthouse complex at the end of the Rockland Breakwater in the harbor of Rockland, Maine. Replacing a light station at Jameson Point, the light was established in 1902, about two years after the completion of the breakwater.

Built in 1825 & standing at just 26 feet tall, its guiding light shines out over Penobscot Bay from a vantage point 100 feet above sea level, which offers visitors a commanding view of the surrounding seascapes & islands. A 5,710-acre public recreation area overlooking Penobscot Bay in the town of Camden in Knox County. The state park features multi-use trails to Mount Battie, Mount Megunticook, & other scenic locales. Owls Head Transportation Museum

Beginning with a suggestion put forward by Thomas J. Watson Jr., CEO of IBM, who maintained a home nearby, the museum was established in 1974 by the Owls Head Foundation. Its mission is 'to collect, preserve, exhibit, & operate pre-1940 aircraft, ground vehicles, engines & related technologies significant to the evolution of transportation for the purpose of education.' At the time of its founding, their collection comprised of two automobiles, two aircraft, a high-wheel bicycle, & a 100-ton steam engine, but has now grown to house approximately 125 objects.
