Crater Lake is located about 1 hour and 45 minutes North of Merrill. It is beautiful and worth seeing if you have the time.
Lava Beds is located 40 minutes S of Merrill. It’s a pretty cool spot to see also. The Merrill Ice Cave and Valentine Caves are a favorite.
Malin has a beautiful park, it’s just 10 minutes E of Merrill.
