“We’re getting married!”

Briefly they interacted at work. Short conversations on their way in and out. Joking that they were following each other. Zander confessed later that he thought Abby was either taken or a man-hating-feminist due to her short blue hair. Unexpectedly they ran into each other at the Renaissance Festival on pirates weekend in 2022. Zander confessed he frequents the faire often and Abby hadn’t been in years and was showing her friend Arial around. He offered his services and was their guide for the rest of the day. Zander loves to put on a performance. First going over his usual pirate introduction and then did a wonderful enactment of “friend from the other side” from the Disney film Princess in the frog. At the end of the faire he took his chance and kissed the back of Abby’s hand and then her cheek. From there they’d text and smile at each other at work. Zander then invited Abby to see a musical “Fiddler on the Roof” and per trustworthy sources when he purchased the tickets he was fully intending to take her. Attempting the old “the person I was going with cancelled please take pity on me and go” act. At first Abby couldn’t go due to a previous engagement but finally decided to go. They played a get to know you game on the drive there and shared a kiss before the event started. After some time they made plans to go back to the faire together just them and it just happened to be romance weekend. While wandering the faire Zander asked to make it official and clearly Abby said yes. Now they are continuing to write their own story and are about to start their next chapter.
