Salazar's is a Cincinnati restaurant built with our community in mind. The menu and atmosphere reflect the neighborhood--a mix of old and new. Chef Salazar celebrates the changing of the season with a farm-inspired menu that's creative and refined but playful and approachable. Open for brunch and dinner
Another restaurant from James Beard Nominated Chef Jose Salazar, the restaurant is named after his Columbian grandmother, his "Mita." Mita's eclectic, farm-inspired menu focuses on both the traditional and modern foods and beverages of Spain and Latin America-- with tapas, ceviches, cured hames, cheese, and large plates.
The only tour that Josh and Zana would do again-- and then, maybe again! A stroll through OTR, home to America's largest set of historical landmarks. Visit buildings in the Gateway District that were home to over 130 saloons, bars, and beer gardens. Then, descend below the city streets to a hidden crypt, where some of Cincinnati's first residents are buried. Next, return underground to explore newly discovered tunnels, vital to Cincinnati's brewery heritage. Not a good choice for claustrophobic folks.
This park, along the Ohio River, features gardens, a playground, a splash pad, and panoramic walking paths. From Newport, you can walk to the park by walking over--or biking over on the Cincy red bikes-- the Roebling Bridge. The perfect activity for a sunny day!
