We ask that you refrain from taking pictures and/or use your cell phone/camera during the ceremony, but for the remainder of the wedding you're free to take as many photos as you'd like and post on social media (be sure to tag us!) We'd also greatly appreciate it if you can share your pictures with us by sending them to zamorawedding2020@gmail.com
Because we are still unsure if we will be relocating after the wedding, we have not created a registry as of now. We refrain from creating a registry just to pack everything to move soon after. -To Be Updated-
When you RSVP here on our website, you'll be prompted to also RSVP for other invited guests in your party (members of your direct household and/or +1's). Otherwise, we would prefer it if it were just you. Thank you for understanding!
San Diego dressy-casual! We want you to be comfortable, but classy!
The Casa del Prado is a paved outdoor patio. Please be sure to consider the weather report as we approach the big day and dress accordingly.
Casa del Prado is located in Balboa Park. You can refer to the Balboa Park map on your mailed invitation or on the "Schedule & Map" tab above. Alternatively, you can search the address in Google Maps for walking directions once you've arrived at Balboa Park. Address: 1650 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101 Note: This is not to be confused with The Prado restaurant at Balboa Park!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm, but because Casa del Prado is located in a public park, we suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early to find a parking spot. TIP: Be sure to plug in the address to your GPS to be guided to the closest parking lot! You can also use the GPS on "walking mode" once you arrive at Balboa Park to direct you to the Casa del Prado.
Post-ceremony, the wedding party will be taking photos for approximately 30-45 minutes. In this time, we'll have non-alcoholic drinks and appetizers available. In addition, we encourage you to use our photo booth, toss a coin in the nearby fountain to make a wish for the newly-weds, or take a stroll to the Lily Pond and Botanical Building located right outside the Casa del Prado patio.
The ceremony will take place from 2-3pm and the reception will be from 3-6:30pm. Feel free to stay at Balboa Park post-reception to continue your visit with friends and family!
We have not reserved a block of hotel rooms. We suggest using Airbnb for your stay here in San Diego as you can find full apartments for the same price as a hotel. TIP: If you're looking to spend additional time with relatives, easily share transportation, or make your stay in San Diego more economical, we suggest booking an Airbnb together! There are many 2-4 bedroom houses and apartments which would be a great way to spend extra time with loved ones, carpool to the wedding venue, and save money on your accommodations!
