Zamire’s perspective We first met at Crown College during welcome week. I was playing basketball with my friends when Jose and his friends approached us and asked to play. I did not think much of it until he started appearing more and more. We had a mutual friend who started setting up meetings between Jose and me. After a couple of days, his friend asked if I wanted to hang out with Jose, and I said yes. After our first hangout, I knew he was different. He took the time to get to know me, and I felt at peace with him, something that was new for me. After realizing he was the one for me, I prayed for God’s guidance in our relationship. Since then, Jose has taught me something new every day and inspires me to be a better person. I know God has made us for each other, as we are so naturally aligned.
