Completely up to you! Austin has many wonderful hotels and you get more of the city feel, but you will have about a thirty minute drive. We have five hotels listed under 'travel' that are much closer to our venue in Dripping Springs. AirBnb is also a great option!
Yes, we recommend renting a car as our venue is 40 minutes from the Austin airport. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all located at one venue so no driving necessary on that part. The other option would be to Uber. However, Ubers will be harder to acquire once in Dripping Springs.
Although we love your little ones dearly, unless they are specifically invited or discussed, we request this to be an adults only evening.
There are not shuttles available to and from the hotels. However, there is ample parking at the venue and the hotels. You are welcome to leave your car at our venue overnight and pick it up by 9am on Sunday.
