FAQs

Question

When & how can I RSVP?

Answer

We will be collecting RSVPs electronically only; please send Zoe or Logan a text if having trouble RSVPing! Kindly RSVP by July 11th so we can finalize numbers with our vendors!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be adults only with limited exceptions for immediate family. Only those named on the invitation are invited.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only those formally listed on your wedding invitation are invited to attend. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses, midi or floor length dresses, and suits (ties optional) are all great choices. The celebration will be all indoors, so heels are perfectly fine if you’d like to wear them! To help keep the celebration feeling polished, we kindly ask guests to avoid casual clothing such as jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and polos. If you’re unsure about an outfit, feel free to reach out and ask! 🤍 https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364

Question

What color is the wedding party wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be in a lighter blue (Bluebell by Birdy Grey for those worried!) and the groomsmen will be in dark navy.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Christ Chapel, followed by a reception at the Searle Center, both on Hillsdale College grounds.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30, so guests should plan to arrive no later than 3:15.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available surrounding the college. All parking lots are within a few minutes walk of the ceremony/reception.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so our photographer can beautifully capture the moment. Feel free to snap away during the reception!
