What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is fantasy themed (think Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, or Renaissance Fair vibes)! If you would prefer not to dress up with us, then we would ask you to please dress formally. For women, formal midi or full length dresses. For men, suits or tuxedos. Our only color preferences is please wear jewel tones and avoid white! Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We are planning on having the ceremony outdoors. If it is pouring rain, we will move inside. The reception will be held indoors.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding adults only. The only exceptions are siblings of the bride and groom.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP as soon as you'd like! Please make sure to RSVP "yes" or "no" by May 10, 2026. If you do not RSVP by the deadline, you will automatically be marked as "no" and will not be able to attend.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! Everyone has the option to stay in the castle the night of the wedding and the night after. If you are interested, please reach out to us so that we can assign you to a room. If you are not interested, we have other hotels listed in the travel section or you are free to book your own airbnb.

When should I arrive?

To make it easier on yourself, we recommend you arrive 1 or 2 days before the wedding.

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our photographer will be the only one with a camera. As long as you stay seated and are not distracting (no flash or noise), we do not mind if you take pictures/videos on your phone. All that we ask is that you try your best to be in the moment with us and please do not bother our photographer.

Will there be a reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have dinner after the ceremony and then the rest of the night is for dancing and fun!
