Our love story starts just like many others in the twenty-first century, we both swiped right! After many days of convincing, Erin finally decided that a first date was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

6/19/15 Zach picked Erin up at her house (while her parents were out of town) and after providing a name, address, social security number, and blood type to her aunt, they headed off in the old 1994 F350 that Erin quickly became very fond of. They went to the Mansfield Drive-in Theater where they viewed a motion picture that they couldn't pay attention to (or even recall the name of) because they were so busy talking and getting to know each other. After the movie, they went back to Erins house where they took a romantic moonlit stroll on the scenic Skungamaug River Golf Course. They continued to talked more until about 3am.

6/30/2015 While sitting in the parking lot of Patriots park in the same 1994 F350, Erins best friend Katie decided that it was as good a day as any for them to be officially boyfriend and girlfriend. After that they continued dating and sharing their lives together for many more years.

After only becoming "official" boyfriend and girlfriend in June, Zach was invited along to the family vacation, which was religiously set in August every year at Bayleys Camping Resort in Scarborough Maine - A great time was had by all. After surprising Erin with their own camper in 2016, they began crashing her parents vacation since Erin was now known as "Zach's Problem". Erin, Zach, and their spoiled beloved fur baby Daisy still to this day camp with them all the time along side all of their friends, enjoying many weeks and weekends full of endless laughter, great food, and many drunken stories. Erin and Zach have been fortunate enough to share many great successes in life together so far, and are always striving for even more! Since they have known each other, Erin has graduated from UHart with a BS, gotten her CNA, and attended American Institutes' Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program. After a grueling and trying program which was delayed by the pandemic, Erin continued on. She drove to Bridgeport and back everyday for clinicals at St. Vincents, and finally graduated in October 2021. Erin now enjoys her multiple jobs at different hospitals as a sonographer. Zach started his property management business shortly after he met Erin and has been able to sustain and grow over the years leading to bigger opportunities. Zach was working at a fire truck dealership at the time and put in many hours to finally become a EVT Certified Technician as well as a Pierce Master Technician. Zach has now continued onto his dream job of a Mechanic/Operator where he continues to fix heavy equipment as fast as he can break it! In June 2023, after over 2 years of looking, Zach and Erin finally closed on their first home together in Bolton. They have spent lots of time making the place their own and hosting dinners with friends and family, as well as working on the never ending projects! Erin and Zach continue to spend their lives together enjoying each others company (okay.... enjoying most of the time!) They can usually be found either in the kitchen cooking, on the trail hiking, in the woods camping, in the garden growing vegetables to make the cooking possible, or being lazy watching Netflix.

8/8/2022 With much deliberation, but mainly with a lot of help from their awesome friend Ashley, Zach picked out a ring and decided to ask Erin to be his wife. After asking her father, Mark, for his permission and getting "Yes! Welcome to the family" as an answer, Zach was promptly not offered a return policy on Erin and was once again reminded that she was officially "your problem now". With careful planning and plotting, the ring was packed to keep out of sight from Erin as they continued to Bayley's for their summer vacation. After being tricked into putting on some nicer clothes for what was supposed to be a "maternity" photo shoot with their friends Pat and Ashley, Zach finally popped the question on the dock at the pond. At first, Erin was still looking at the camera and not even paying attention. Finally, after shaking his head a few times, Zach said "Hey stupid!" as Erin looked, caught off guard, she instantly started to tear up and of course had to say YES!
