Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding will be a Formal event, meaning women should wear floor-length dresses or gowns and men should wear formal tuxedos or suits.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding save the dates will be accommodated. If you have any additional concerns or questions feel free to contact the bride or groom regarding this.

What if i didnt rsvp in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "not attending". We will miss celebrating with you but we must provide our vendors with a final guest count within a certain time. Thank you for understanding!

Why are you getting married on a Wednesday?

Answer

This day has significance in our family so we chose to get married on a Wednesday. This will allow us to have a week long of planned activities in Cancun while getting the chance to say "I do!"

how many days should we stay?

This is completely up to you! As our wedding will be held on a Wednesday you are welcome to book your stay for however long accommodates your party best!

how do we book our stay?

Answer

We will have a block of rooms reserved for Destination Perez! This will be through OUR travel agency. Guests are more than welcome to stay anywhere else if they please. However, it is highly recommended you stay at Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Resort Spa. If you choose to stay elsewhere, each guest will have to pay an out of pocket Resort fee in order to attend our ceremony.

What happens if I choose to stay at a different hotel?

Answer

If you do choose to stay at a different hotel you must pay a day pass fee to have access to the wedding events. Day Pass Fee: $130 PER person (coming in 1hr before the ceremony time until the end of the events) Earlier access: $260 PER person (will be able to arrive at 9am and enjoy the facilities, services, and food until the end of the wedding events)

what time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm. We ask that all guests arrive BY 3:15pm. If you are late, you will kindly be asked by our team to not enter the ceremony space. You will then have to wait to enter during our cocktail hour.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, which means no photos! We ask all guests to follow this as we want you to be completely present during our special time. Our hired professionals will be doing the photo-taking during that time. Feel free to take all the photos you would like after the ceremony is complete!
