We originally knew of each other when we both attended SRJC. Zaina had a crush on Kerr but didn't know a single thing about him, she just saw him around campus and thought he was cute and life just went on from there. We reunited back on 01.12.19 when Kerr was on Christmas break from Kansas and he decided to visit his high school friend who was one of my roommates at Sac State at the time. We all went out that night with a big group of friends and we just hit it off instantly. Throughout the year Kerr was still attending school in Kansas and Zaina in Sacramento but still talked everyday. After both graduating from college in May of 2019. Kerr eventually moved back to California. Summer of 2019 is when we really got to know each other and Kerr asked Zaina to be his girlfriend. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our life together!

Sabino, Zaina's dad decided to have a family day and rent out the guest house at DeLoach Winery in Santa Rosa, CA. This winery happened to be were Kerr and Zaina shared their first date. Kerr knew it was the perfect time. He proposed and she said yes! We got to spend the day celebrating with family and couldn't have asked for more of a perfect day.
