Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Eastern wear to the Nikkah (Shalwar kameez, anarkali, angrakha, lehnga, gharara). Either eastern wear (Saris preferably - Etsy has some great options) or a modest dress to the Reception. Some websites: https://laam.pk/ https://www.kalkifashion.com/ https://tgifclothing.com/about-us/ (3-piece)

Question

Do we need to get tested for COVID after reaching Lahore?

Answer

The rules are changing all the time but as of now, no PCR test or quarantine is required when you come to Pakistan. They might conduct a rapid antigen test at the airport, but the directions for that are very clear and you should be fine. Safe travels, and will keep you posted if there are any changes!

Answer

God forbid. But if life happens, there is great at home care available and we'll do our best to take care of you.

Question

How long does it take for us to get a COVID PCR test for travel purposes?

Answer

It take up to 24 hours. Take your passport and ticket with you. The cost is around PKR 7000. No, insurance does not cover it. And no, travel insurance is not a thing really and hospitals are quite inexpensive.

Question

I want to try Non-Pakistani style food in Lahore. Are there any options?

Answer

Absolutely. We love our version of Non-pakistani cuisine . Western style is what we call it 'continental', Cosa Nostra, Rina's Kitchenette, Cafe Aylanto, ZOUK & English tea house are some of great options. Asian (Chinese, Thai, Japanese) You'll likely find all these under one roof! Bamboo Union, Fuchsia and Wasabi are the popular one's. For more classic American foods, Mc. Donalds, Burger King, Papa Johns, Subway. American food chains made their way to us a while back and are immensely popular
