MONTAZAH AIDA BEACH / MONTAZAH BEACH Located inside the beautiful Montazah Palace gardens, these are some of the prettiest beaches in the city with greenery, cleaner water, beautiful surroundings, and more of a “resort” feel. EL MAMURAH BEACH One of the most popular and well-kept beaches in Alexandria. It has both public and private sections, with clean sand, facilities, and a more relaxed vibe. Great if you want something easy and reliable. TOLIP BEACH A more private, hotel-style beach with better service, loungers, and cleaner facilities. Slightly less scenic than Montazah but very comfortable. STANLI BEACH Super central and great for photos (right by Stanley Bridge), but it can get busy and isn’t the cleanest compared to the top options.

BIBLIOTHECA ALEXANDRINA The #1 must-see, a stunning modern library built to honour the ancient one. It’s one of the most iconic landmarks in the city with museums, exhibitions, and incredible architecture. CITADEL OF QAITBAY A beautiful seaside fortress built on the exact site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria (one of the 7 wonders). Amazing views, especially at sunset. MONTAZAH PALACE GARDENS Beautiful royal gardens by the sea, perfect for a relaxed walk with palaces, greenery, and coastal views. BOAT TRIP Sunset cruise from the Eastern Harbor, enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean. STANLEY BRIDGE One of the most photographed spots in Alexandria, especially nice at sunset. ALEXANDRIA CORNICHE The famous seafront road, great for a walk, cafés, and soaking up the Mediterranean vibe. CATACOMBS OF KOM EL SHOQAFA A really unique underground site, one of the largest Roman burial sites in Egypt, mixing Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles

CITY CENTRE ALEXANDRIA The best overall mall, big, modern, and has all the international brands (Zara, H&M, etc.) plus a huge Carrefour and food court. SAN STEFANO GRAND PLAZA The most luxurious and aesthetic mall, right on the sea. Slightly smaller than City Centre but more “vibes”, great mix of shopping + views GREEN PLAZA MALL A very popular, busy all-rounder mall with lots of shops, food options, and entertainment. Great for variety and easy shopping.

SOUK EL ATTARINE The best overall traditional market, full of antiques, spices, jewellery, and unique souvenirs. It’s a proper maze of little streets and feels very “old Egypt". ZAN'ET EL SITAT The most lively and colourful market, great for clothes, accessories, fabrics, and gifts. Busy, chaotic, and very fun to walk through. SOUQ EL MANSHEYA A huge, central market with a bit of everything, clothes, souvenirs, street food, and local goods. Very authentic but more hectic.

BRANZINO One of the best all-round restaurants, great seafood, modern vibe, and very popular with visitors. BLUE HARBOR ROOFTOP Amazing rooftop views over the sea, perfect for a nicer dinner or drinks. Feels a bit more special bringing holiday vibes. CRAVE A more upscale, trendy option with a big menu (international + Egyptian). Great if you want something a bit more polished. JEEDA'S Stylish and slightly more intimate, known for modern Egyptian food and seafood with a twist SANTA LUCIA A classic, slightly more formal restaurant, good for Italian food and a quieter atmosphere. OLD STREET CAFE & RESTAURANT Very popular, central, and great for casual meals, brunch, or coffee. RITSA A solid seafood spot, less fancy but great if you want something more local and authentic. SEASIDE Beautiful location near the water, enjoy a sea view while you dine.

HOOKAH (TIVOLI DOME) A dedicated shisha spot with a wide range of flavours and late-night vibe. Great if you want proper hookah quality. OLD STREET CAFE Very popular and central, great all-rounder for food, drinks, and shisha in a lively setting. LATINO CAFE Good mix of shisha + food + sea views. Slightly more casual but still a solid option.
