Abi & Zac became friends in Mrs. Parkerson's Kindergarten class in Valdosta. Abi remembers Zac's dimples and spikey hair. Zac remembers Abi had an "up-to-no-good" look in her eyes. After Kindergarten, Zac's family moved to the Savannah area, without knowing that months later, the Bishop family would relocate there too. The Moores and the Bishops continued their friendship, and Abi's sister Taylor even babysat the Moore kids a few times. Abi & Zac started first grade at two different elementary schools, right across the street from one another. Abi always wanted to go to Marshpoint Elementary, where Zac and many of her friends went. When her mom began student teaching there, she was finally able to be there for fourth and fifth grade. Abi & Zac weren't ever in the same class again, but they were still buddies. For their first date, around nine years old, Zac built up the courage to call Abi's dad, Hale to ask him if they could go for a walk around the block, and of course, he agreed. On their next date, Zac took Abi to the South beach on Tybee Island, with Zac's dad Jeff as a chaperone. At one point, the tide began to rise and they were trapped. They both remember Jeff carrying both of them back to shore. Shortly after, the Moore's moved to Warner Robins, but Abi & Zac stayed in touch with one another, through texts, calls, Skype, and Facebook. In 2016, Abi went to visit the Moores in Milledgeville. She had a special place in heart for Zac, but he wasn't ready to be anything more than friends, yet. Just about the time sparks would fly, Zac would get an itch to travel and they would be apart again. Finally, Zac moved back to Georgia from Texas and started school in Moultrie. The two were together again and he realized she was the one for him. It wasn't long before Zac confessed his love to Abi, and they've been inseparable ever since.
He proposed in Denali National Park, after building up the courage once again to ask for Abi's Dad's permission.
