Zack’s Version: If you're seeing this before he's done telling his side, he's on tour.. check back later for it! :) Ambers Version: At the end of December 2024, I literally prayed on my knees to God to please remove anything or anyone that was not meant to be in my next chapter and to please let my future husband come into my life in 2025. After working at one of the top 100 salon’s in the United States and THE top salon in Austin, Texas.. I would still come home to my downtown apartment with so much to be grateful for and feel like I have nobody to share my life with. My dog and I decided to order pet shrimp to join our family, thinking maybe that would fulfill us. The shrimp started a colony and now with over 100 pet shrimp, 3 aquariums to accommodate everybody, there was still something missing. My apartment lease was coming up in Austin & I was impulsively deciding “maybe I will move to Nashville”. With no reason besides knowing my love for the banjo I play & music & recognizing the perfect city to continue my career as a hair stylist. Clueless how it all even works, I downloaded “Facebook Dating” and changed my settings to Nashville, Tennessee. After talks with my family about possibly moving my life and starting new, being in a strange city alone..staying in Austin was the best decision for now so I at least had more time to prepare for that kind of a move one day. I resigned my lease for another year. I then switched salons in Austin for a new environment and just continued my life in Texas. I didn’t even have the dating app downloaded for a week when this cute guitar player in Nashville had messaged me. We talked a little on the Facebook Dating app but he went and found me on Instagram! We exchanged numbers. We were talking for a week and just like that we both deleted our apps..and before ever meeting, we decided to be “boyfriend/girlfriend”. We shocked all of our friends and family by both changing our relationship status’ on Facebook to “In a relationship”. Unaware, it would even go to everybody’s feed. At this point, we both had explaining to do to everyone who knew us LOL! Coincidentally we also had a ton of mutual friends. We would stay on the phone for HOURS even though both of us have very busy lives. Within 2 weeks, Zack was flying to Austin, Texas to come to my fashion show. I got out of the car and almost fell and busted my ass in the mud from being so nervous to meet him. We still have the iPhone screen shots of Zack texting and saying, “I feel Iike I’m about to come face to face with the rest of my life” before meeting me♥️. After that, one of us flew every 2 weeks to see each other which is yes..ridiculous, but we were inseparable. We were already talking about wanting to get married in 2025 and began introducing each other to our families and friends along with having talks about a future with kids. BUT we both agreed marriage first! Well… God decided a baby girl was coming into our lives no matter what we planned. Because HE already has a plan. Zack respectfully had called my dad prior and asked for permission to have my hand in marriage. He then surprised me at The Grand Ol Opry after performing and asked me to be his wife. He then flew to Texas, helped me pack up everything I own, including my dog and over 100 pet shrimp and moved me to Tennessee in our new home that we picked out. So, within 6 months, all of my prayers have been answered. God hears you and he has a plan for all of us ♥️ I’ve been waiting my whole life for Zack to find me and love me. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him & to start our family with our daughter due in December, Austyn Belle Robertson.
