We're getting married!

Analytical chemistry, though an important piece of my chemistry degree, was not something I particularly excelled in. I’d been working on my lab report for about three hours and had digressed to the point of scribbling a few hasty calculations, checking my answers, realizing that they were wrong and then throwing my notebook across my dorm room. I’d suddenly have eureka moment, run over to my notebook, and so the cycle would begin again. Zack and I were sophomores at Beloit College and had already taken a few classes together. We had a few friends in common but I’d had to do some fast thinking more than once to avoid letting him know I could never remember his name for the life of me. Luckily, one of my best friends had been watching my before mentioned chemistry struggles and invited Zack to dinner. That semester he was one of the analytical chemistry teaching assistants and he spent the evening helping me get my report finished. With it submitted he stood awkwardly to leave and I, feeling a little bad about stealing his evening, invited him to stay and watch movies with my roommate and I. We started dating a month later.
