Please plan to join us: Saturday September 27, 2025 at 4 in the afternoon until 9 in the evening at the Adams Avenue Theater 3325 Adams Ave. San Diego, CA 92116. Please plan to join us at the venue starting at 4pm. The ceremony will be promptly at 4:20pm. Please note there is no designated parking available for the venue and street parking is extremely limited in that area. Please plan to arrive early or take advantage of ride share or public transit options. All guests age 21+ are invited to join us at for an after party at The Rabbit Hole bar after the wedding. The Rabbit Hole is located a 1/2 block walk from our venue. Please see the travel tab for information and recommendations for our out-of-town guests. We met in 2016 while working at the San Diego Natural History Museum where we initially bonded over irate museum members, cups of coffee, and progressive politics. Months after meeting, we found ourselves having a drink with museum friends at La Mesa bar Joltin' Joe's, where we swapped our best drinking stories along with our phone numbers. Our first date was a Peach Kelli Pop show at Blonde Bar. In that same week, we got coffee and aggressively challenged the other's preferred presidential candidate. In the coming months, we'd spend most of our time together - cooking dinner (Zack cooked, Megan watched), going to political rallies, and drinking many, many, many craft beers. We ignored all the best advice and moved in together less than a year after we started dating. Spoiler alert: It was a great decision. We built our first home on lots of homecooked meals (in true pandemic fashion, Meg took up canning and bread baking), balcony gardening (Zack got very good at growing tomatoes in a 5 gallon bucket), and of course, on our first fur baby, June Bug. We bought our first house together in 2021. Lately, you can find us in our backyard, building up our seasonal gardens (long way from the 5 gallon buckets!) and tending to our chickens. We also like spending time with Junie and our second fur baby Nova, and of course, we still enjoy drinking many, many, many craft beers. Joltin' Joe's and Blonde Bar are long gone but 8 years later - here we are! We got engaged during a trip to Germany on September 26, 2023 and are celebrating our marriage 2 years later on September 27, 2025. We are so thankful for the people in our lives who have helped shape who we are and can't wait for you to party with us! Cheers to you, cheers to us, cheers to love!
