Back in 2012, Zack took a trip to visit his best friend Jenna Marzin at Clemson. The first night of the trip Jenna's college best friend, Mallory, came over to meet a few of her friends from back home. Mallory and Zack spent most of the night talking to each other. So much so, that by the time Zack left to head back to Virginia Tech, he had developed a pretty large crush on Mallory. Over the next two years, Zack did his best to keep up contact with his crush from Clemson, but by the time they reached their senior year of college, he had not made much progress. It was time to step it up. Zack's sister was getting married that fall and he decided to change his mind about bringing a date, and ask his now, long time crush, Mallory. She eventually said yes to coming, and they were able to have their first date at that wedding. They've been together ever since!
