We Did It! Celebrate With Us on March 20th, 2021!

We met on the very first day of Freshman year. I was new to the school; he was not. We had 3 classes together, and in the first one he sat right next to me and flirted - SO HARD. This confident, tall, mysterious 15-year-old who acted like he ran the school intrigued me. I found him annoying at first, until I realized that I was starting to like him. We used to write notes to each other during class and after 2 weeks, my confident 14-year-old self decided to tell him how I felt in a note. And here we are... :)

He took me to the city I have been obsessed with since I was a kid. London. He bought us tickets and a hotel stay for my Christmas present in 2018 and told me we were going in August 2019. Our anniversary month. We were there for almost a week and the last day there was our 7 year anniversary. We did some sightseeing and had afternoon tea that day and went to a fancy French restaurant for dinner. I had booked the table in advance because it had a perfect view of the Tower Bridge and there was a good deal for a 3 course meal with wine. He "went to the bathroom" and "forgot his phone" (which I found out because I asked him to take a picture with his phone, he said he left it in the bathroom but would get it later, and I was obviously suspicious because why not go look for it.) After dessert, he finally decided to "look for his phone." I started sweating because I knew it was about to happen! He came back out, asked for the attention of everyone around us, and explained that he waited until our 7th year and the 7th day of the week because 7 is my favorite number. He then popped the question! My mom had called the restaurant in advance so that we got the table with the best view. He also had a manager record the proposal! They brought us out another glass of wine each and a congratulatory dessert afterwards. We walked the Tower Bridge after dinner and watched how the ring sparkled in the moonlight. It was absolutely perfect and I will never forget it!
