Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony location is outside in the courtyard of the Buffalo History Museum. It is grass so be cautious in your shoe choice, stilettos are not advised. The Reception is at Hydraulic Hearth a local restaurant located in Larkinville in downtown Buffalo. This venue is both indoor and outdoor, although most of the wedding activities will take place outside.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The Bride and Groom request that everyone follows cocktail attire. These days getting the chance to dress up does not pop up as often. As we celebrate the night away lets dress to impress!

What is cocktail attire?

Answer

A small step above semi-formal (which we'll get to next), cocktail attire is an extremely popular choice within the wedding space. It's a balance between elegant and comfortable and fancy and pared-back. Instead of a floor-length dress, women should opt for a tea-length, knee-length, or midi look. And while tuxedos are no longer an option, men are required to wear a suit and tie, regardless of the wedding's setting.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Our ceremony is kid friendly, if you choose to have them join. Our reception is Adult Only. We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under age 21 on our wedding day.

What type of food will be served at our wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Hour: Charcuterie display by Meat and Eat Charcuterie Reception: Buffet style including American Pub Style Cuisine: Think salad, wood fire pizza, sliders, and more!!! Dessert: It's a SURPRISE!!! But you are sure to LOVE it. Late Night: Buffalo's Best cuisine: Stuffed Banana Pepper Dip, Wings, Fries, and more!
