Our story begins back in 2016 at a store in Watertown South Dakota called Dunham's Sporting Goods. Jackie was working there as her second job to help pay off debt and Zack lived in Watertown so he could jam with his band the "Burms". Once Zack got tired of living in Watertown and moved back to Fargo, Zack and Jackie kept in touch. After over a year of a long distance friendship they decided to finally make it official. Both of them were scared about starting a relationship where they lived almost three hours away from each other but they had nothing to lose but gas money and time not event spent with each other. Then a few months of dating Jackie scared Zack tell him how she was thinking that she might be moving back to Arizona because she wanted to go back to school and that would be the easy and cheapest choice. But his love for her got her to reevaluate and instead of moving to Arizona she moved only 45 minutes away from him in Detroit Lakes Minnesota to go to school. After about a year and a half of a long distance relationship the finally lived in the same state! On July 14, 2020 (while on vacation to see his sisters family in Oregon) on a hike at Silver Falls State Park under a waterfall Zack dropped down on one knee and ask Jackie if she would marry him. Their wedding is set for May 28, 2022 in Hankinson, ND at the Lake Elsie Wedding Barn
