Highly recommend for all your outdoor activities - from walking, running, bike riding, to disc golfing, it's got you covered. The New Orleans Museum of Art is located in City Park, as well as a beautiful sculpture garden. There's even a quaint Cafe du Monde location!
A beautiful park to walk or run located uptown right across from Tulane & Loyola's campuses. The park consists of a ~2 mile wide paved loop with multiple playgrounds around the perimeter of the loop for little ones.
We love playing tourist in our own city when friends and family come to visit. Walking around Jackson Square is a great way to experience the French Quarter (of course stopping by Cafe du Monde for a beignet), taking in the fun local art and never-disappointing people watching.
A great way to spend time during the day.
For your classic tourist fix :).
Awesome Lebanese food. BYOB.
Our favorite Italian restaurant (Hallie's overall favorite) in New Orleans.
A great lunch or dinner spot!
Hands down, best donuts ever. Really unique flavors. They also have great savory options if sweet isn't your thing.
THE best brunch in town - worth the long wait!
+ Wine Garden. Great food, drinks, and outdoor atmosphere. 21+
The most hidden gem restaurant, in our opinion. Our go-to Thai takeout.
Need some veggies amidst the NOLA fare? Find them here!
Our favorite Thai restaurant (Zack's overall favorite) in New Orleans.
Probably the most popular family-friendly margs + Mexican locale. Super fun vibe.
When the weather is nice, the most popular spot for margs + tacos. Worth the wait.
A great local coffee spot that has taken off across NOLA with multiple locations. This one is on the Greenway, which is a nice paved walking/running path. This location has ample indoor & outdoor seating.
Hallie's go-to Saturday coffee stop, post-CycleBar. Best cold brew in town!
Great BBQ with indoor & outdoor seating. Zack's favorite: The Doobin' Loobin. Hallie's: the roasted garlic mac n' cheese & brussel sprouts
A cool indoor/outdoor bar spot with tons of outdoor TVs to watch sports. They have good bar food and an expansive beer/wine/cocktail draft selection in the Mid-City area. 21+
