Amazing shave ice (not shave-d ice :P)! Zack's top pick: Rootbeer with a scoop of vanilla ice cream Dani's top pick: 50/50 POG (aka passion, orange , guava) and Lilikoi (aka passionfruit), with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you feel so inclined (its only water and syrup after all...)

Aoki's Shave Ice

Another great shave ice option (closer to the venue). Refer to Waiola Shave Ice for Zack and Dani's favorite flavors. Another Haleiwa shave ice institution is Matsumoto's (66-087 Kamehameha Highway)!

Diamond Head Summit Trail

Gorgeous views of the shoreline are your reward for this moderate hike. Overall its about 1.6 miles round trip with little overhead coverage resulting in a hot and dry hike.

Some of the best spicy garlic shrimp around (non-spicy is also good)! Giovanni's is another great option, but expect a long wait!
