Travel

The Wedding Website of Ava Mihaly and Zack Schipper
We know Mammoth can feel like a bit of a trek, but we hope you make it part of the adventure! We highly recommend driving from San Diego and turning it into a little road trip so you can explore along the way and experience some of our favorite places. The drive is about 5.5-6 hours and is super scenic from start to finish. Other travel options: • Fly from San Diego to Reno (RNO), then drive 2–3 hours to Mammoth Lakes • Fly from Carlsbad (CLD) to Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH) Summer flight schedules can be found on visitmammoth.com Yosemite National Park is only about 1.5–2 hours from Mammoth Lakes in the summer (via Tioga Pass) and makes for an incredible add-on before or after the wedding. If you have the time, we highly recommend exploring Yosemite and turning this trip into a full Sierra adventure. Below are some places near our reception... We highly recommend Airbnb/VRBO (especially if you can make a group) Camping (Mammoth Rv Park has great amenities)
