Abby and Zack started dating in summer of 2020 both going into their junior year of high school. Their story began by a sweet Easter message sent by the groom and the back and forth messages never stopped after that! Despite not going back to school and the lockdown they were able to stay in touch and start dating four months later (August 2020). They stayed together through all of high school and continued to date when Zack moved away for college and have been doing long distance for the past 4 years! *Although this is their official love story, they were 7th grade desk partners in math and Becky (Zack’s mom) remembers Zack coming home from school one day talking about the a cute girl he had a crush on who he got to sit next to in Mr.Roses 7th grade math class!

On July 15th 2024 Zack took Abby down to their favorite beach to watch the sunset, after enjoying their favorite Mexican restaurant in SD. On the beach he performed a song for her that told the story of their relationship which he ended with the verse “Will you marry me” and then he got down on one knee. They got to enjoy this special moment just the two of them and Abby tells everyone it felt like she was in a hallmark movie!
