Rosie's Coffee & Wine Garden
This is one of our favorite places in Charlotte. Perfect for coffee during the day or wine at night. We even had an engagement party here! Note: Check before going to make sure that they are not closed for a private event. It is also near another favorite, Optimist Hall.
South End Light Rail Trail
Walking the Light Rail Trail in South End is a great way to see Charlotte! The trail will take you all through South End and will take you near breweries, restaurants, ice cream places, shops, etc. A few favorite stops in South End are Wooden Robot Brewery, Velvet taco (casual lunch), Suffolk Punch (brunch), Barcelona Wine Bar (nicer dinner, reservations recommended), Jeni's ice cream, Pins Mechanical (bowling, games, drinks), and Leroy Fox (lunch/dinner spot). Zack and I have both lived in South End and have tried just about every place there!
The Cellar at Duckworth's
This is at the top of our restaurant list in Charlotte! We have celebrated many special occasions here and was even our first date night in Charlotte. P.S. ask them to show you the beer cellar.
