Questions

If you have any questions other than what we have listed here, please reach out to Lina via text at 623-853-6168. Thank you!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I do it online?

Answer

We ask that guests RSVP by Friday, December 31 so that we can plan accordingly. RSVPs will be entirely online right here on our website! Please see the "RSVP" tab or visit the RSVP link provided on your invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an 16+ event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. Older children who are invited will have received an invitation along with their parents’ invitation. Parents will be able to RSVP for themselves and their teens. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a guest/plus one?

Answer

Due to a number of factors, we are only able to accommodate guests who have received an invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVP'ing for yourself and your plus one so that we can get an accurate head count.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP so that we may plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. Guests may begin arriving at 3:00 p.m.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and gentleman should wear a suit or sport coat. Ties are optional. We ask that ladies avoid white and lavender, as these colors are reserved for the bridal party. For our out of town guests, though our ceremony and reception will be indoors, March in Illinois can be chilly. We recommend bringing a jacket, just in case :)

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will be escorted into the Gatsby Hall for a cocktail hour until roughly 4:30 when they will be escorted into the Grand Hall for the reception.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Our venue, the Olde Wick’s Factory is located at 1100 5th St, Highland, IL 62249. Transportation will not be provided. Under the "Travel" tab of this website, we have provided some hotel options, many of which are a short drive or even walking distance from the venue!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we’ve created an online registry on this website under the "Registry" tab.

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough! Should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Question

What is the schedule for the event?

Answer

Please see the "Schedule" tab for a complete schedule. A rough schedule is as follows: the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall. Immediately following the reception, a cocktail hour will be hosted for the guests in the Gatsby Room of the venue. At 5:00 p.m., guests will be escorted to the West Hall for the reception. The reception will last from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. Dinner is scheduled to be served at 7:00 p.m.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar at the reception along with a buffet-style dinner.
