On May 18th, 2018, in the familiar setting of their elementary school, Zoey was engrossed in conversation with her friends, when she heard her name called. She turned around to find Zack, whom she had not seen for years and who in her mind was her older brother's childhood friend. Despite his jitters, Zack approached Zoey with what he later admitted was the stupidest question imaginable, but it was enough to spark a conversation. The following day, he found himself at the Hamada potluck, where their bond began to deepen as they hung out on Berrywood, played hockey, and spoke for hours. The pair spent the entire Shavout laughing and enjoying each other's company, but as Shavout was coming to an end Zoey was nowhere to be found- so Zack left without getting her phone number. Determined not to let her slip away, Zack reached out to her through direct messages on Instagram and sent his first text playfully inquiring about their future wedding. Little did they know that six years later, that text would become a beautiful reality.

After three days of exploring the stunning Southwest, Zack and Zoey found themselves glamping in Zion National Park. As Zoey prepared for the day, Zack surprised her by suggesting they watch the sunrise from a nearby overlook he had found online the night before. Excitedly, Zoey got ready, and they set off in the car. Zack took a sudden turn onto a bumpy dirt road, leaving Zoey curious about their destination. Arriving at a dead end, they found three other cars and a campfire, making Zack's claim about others being there for sunrise seem plausible. Climbing to the top, they were greeted by a stranger, and as they reached the summit, Zoey's eyes widened in amazement. To her left, a chef cooked over an open flame, while to her right, a path of candles led to a beautifully set picnic with marquee letters spelling out "Marry Me." Zoey could not contain her excitement and it was the easiest question for her to answer. After a delightful breakfast against the backdrop of the rising sun, they embarked on a stunning photoshoot along the Watchman Trail in Zion National Park, creating memories that exceeded all of Zoey's wildest dreams.
